As many of you know, over the past 18 months our core focus has been establishing the foundation of what we believe is a truly differentiated approach to Physical-Tech equity investing. This approach blends deep operational expertise through venture building, the translation of novel (deep-tech) technologies via strategic research and corporate partnerships, and the support of a strong network of industry veterans and supply-chain partners. At its core, our mission is to meet founders and technologies exactly where they are in the innovation journey, and to deploy the right mix of capital, operational support, and strategic guidance to help them progress through each critical stage of commercialization - We will share more on our investment approach in 2026, but I look forward to finding more ways to collaborate, share and invest together!

IHMC x Conduit Commercialization Partnership has officially launched, and the team is heads down working on projects ranging from immersive drone training and planning systems (defense), AI powered exo-skeletal industrial labor augmentation wearables, spatial-threat detection devices (defense, security)... you get the idea!
As part of this and a few other partnerships TBA in Q1 we plan extend our current Company Creation Fund and grow Conduit’s core team in H1 2026. with strategic leaders from Intellectual Ventures to bolster and expanded our focus on Technology Commercialization of “Lap-to-Market” Deep-Tech.
🚀 Conduit Welcomes Three New Fellows
Ted McFarland — Ted is a veteran aerospace and communications executive with decades of experience leading strategic growth, operations, and investor engagement across satellite, telecom, and defense sectors. He currently provides fractional executive leadership and advisory support through his firm TM2Space LLC, helping space and communications companies scale and navigate global markets. His career includes senior roles at industry leaders such as Astranis, Blue Origin, Orbital ATK, Lockheed Martin, and PanAmSat, reflecting deep expertise in technology commercialization and business development.
Will (William) Lyons is a venture strategist and entrepreneur with deep roots in aerospace and innovation. He previously held senior global engineering and technology leadership roles at The Boeing Company, where he led international R&D strategy and cross-industry partnerships, and now advises startups and venture platforms on building, scaling, and positioning new ventures.
Eric Klein — Eric Klein is a seasoned technology investor and builder, serving as a partner at Lemnos, an early-stage hardware-focused venture fund, and as a managing partner at Klein Venture Partners, where he supports and funds hardware and tech founders.
